Her best-known role is as Monica on the UPN/The CW show, Girlfriends, which she played William Dent's (Reggie Hayes) girlfriend, and later wife, Monica from 2002 to the series finale in 2008. For this role she earned an NAACP Image Award Nomination for "Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series".
